The Compact course - a great way to practise for players of all levels – encircles the driving range and runs around the castle grounds. The Pitch & Putt version is approved for official FFG competitions.

  hole 1 Hcp 4 This Par 4 starts with a slight dogleg left with a blind opening drive to be played slightly to the left of the fairway marker. Beware of the fairway’s slope to the right, the long grass of its roughs on each side, and the ravine beyond the green.

  hole2 Hcp 17 A short Par 4 with an Out of Bounds on the left. Make sure your opening drive puts the ball into play on the right of the fairway which slopes down steeply to the left. The boldest players will attempt to reach the green from the tee.

  hole 3 Hcp 11 An uphill Par 3. The choice of club proves to be quite tricky since the raised green rises above the fairway, and is protected by three frontal bunkers and with a punishing rough to the rear.

On such an undulating fairway, big-hitters will attempt to reach the green on the second shot in spite of the risk of seeing their attempt foiled by the water hazard just in front.

  hole 7 Hcp 18 This par 4 is the easiest hole of the course. The fairway bunker is not visible from the teeing ground. Those capable of playing a long shot will overshoot it, but the more cautious will play to the right.  Any direct shot to the green may be waylaid by the surrounding woods.

  hole 10 Hcp 1 One of the most difficult holes of the course. A very long Par 4 lined by an Out of Bounds to the right and a water hazard on the left.  Its famous green in the shape of a foot has little depth with another water hazard beyond.

  hole 11 Hcp 7 A par 4 with a pronounced dogleg left. With an Out of Bounds to the left and right and its bunker within driving distance, the first shot is particularly testing. Its narrow two-tier green protected by its pothole bunkers will require an accurate choice of club.

  hole 19 Lic IV The par of this hole cannot be calculated in terms of « strokes » but by the degree of satisfaction you feel when you reach it. No handicap here. Just the pleasure of remembering or forgetting the previous 18 holes!
